This a four day course:
22 & 23 April 2010
17 & 18 May 2010 - delegates are expected to attend all days

It has been recognised that if we are to improve health and well being within the population of North East Lincolnshire, we need to enable people to make fundamental changes in their lifestyles.  It is also recognised that professionals who work in some of our most deprived areas can have a profound impact on self esteem, aspirations and motivation through their every day work. 

The course aims:
-Participants will be enabled to explore self esteem, aspirations and resilience and develop a range of skills which can be used to promote a sense of well being with the people they work with.

- Participants with have an opportunity to share best practice, develop training techniques and gain access to a range of tools to enable efficient work practice.

- Participants will develop a better understanding of themselves and the implications on their work practice.

- To provide an opportunity to identify and assess how the course has impacted on practice. 

Participants will receive also receive a training pack.

Participants are expected to show that they have put the theory into practice in their every day work.

A learning reflective Journal will also be required as evidence of the progress that participants have made throughout the duration of the course.
