Smaller and Smaller Maze

Here's a maze to solve. Start in any circle in the top row and find a pathway to come out in any circle on the bottom row. Each circle you move to must be a smaller number than the one you are leaving. You can move side-to-side or up-and-down, one circle at a time but no diagonal moves! Are there more routes if diagonal moves are allowed?
